Is Onlywire A Reliable Social Bookmarking Service?

It's called Onlywire, and its social bookmarking service is becoming increasingly popular with people who need to make themselves heard over the internet. That is only natural, seeing that social networks have become omnipresent and therefore a great outlet for bloggers and writers. But let's take a step back and clear things out.

So what is this social bookmarking you're talking about?

Well, suppose you've just written an excellent article on your blog and need to spread the word about it. In that case, social bookmarking is the way to go, namely submitting your post to a multitude of social networks. Now you need to do just one more thing, and that is to right click Onlywire on your taskbar and select the option "Check for work".

This is all you have to do!

Onlywire doesn't always make all the 42 submissions but you will never get less than 30 bookmarks and that's still a lot of exposure.

One other thing you need to keep in mind is that Onlywire has its free version and then the paid one. The free version allows you to bookmark 300 times (each time you send a post to a site is counted) and the paid version starts with 10$ for 1000 posts per month. I would say that if you use it for your blog and you make on average about a blog post every 2 days, this could be more than enough. But for the occasional blogger, the free version could prove sufficient.

I know some people are not satisfied with the success rate of the Onlywire service, but in my opinion if your every article gets 30 to 35 bookmarks, it is a good result for such little work. And you're not the only one who can bookmark your stuff: any of your visitors can use the Onlywire button to share the useful content you're providing.
